phone dump

whew! some of these pics are OLD! since i'm still playing catch up i've decided to just dump some the photos from my iphone on this ol' blog.

a long time ago we tried out this burger place by our apartment- it was alright, not my fave

this was more recent- i got together with some girls to make delicious caramel apples a la rocky mountain. i was not involved in the dipping,which is why they look so good

i looked in the rear view mirror and this car monster made me jump lol

we went to the dallas aquarium with the cooks

i could not stop staring at the alligator- it was freaking huge!

jeff has taken over the grocery shopping which is awesome, and now my phone is full of pics like this from whenever he's trying to track down whatever i put on the list so i can text him whether its the right kind/brand or not -phones are so useful :) -

i was diggin' my outfit this day- back in august- although you cant see the gold buttons that run across the top, they're the best part. i don't always get ready (wear make-up/do hair) for work, so when i do i try to take a pic lol

my walk pictures! i decided to take a walk by myself one evening while jeff was studying- and i did walk, but i also sat on a bench for a while. sitting on a bench alone makes you feel lonely. oh wells, at least it was a pretty view.

and that's all! hopefully i update more often so i don't dump pics from august to october all at once :/

Sunday Walk

Hello blog- it's been awhile.

Life's been alright lately, but I just haven't been in the bloggin' mood- although I've made new goals to fix that- I definitely haven't stopped looking at other peoples blogs! I love blogs- so I really need to make more of an effort with mine :)

 Anyways, last Sunday Jeff finally convinced me out into the sun to take a walk. The weather was perfect. Jeff brought our camera and played photographer while I pretended I was a very pale model. 

And even though I'm not a real model....I am really very pale :( 

I thought the end of summer was supposed to be when you're your most tan????  yeah, whatever.

 Also- I'm getting bored with my hair- 

what should I do with it? Not wanting to cut it, but definitely up to dye it something diff???

There's my cutie. 

Jeff's actually been super busy. He's in school, works at Parker's gym, and has taken on coaching these really cute little ten-year-old girls in volleyball. He gives them a group session every Friday night and they pretty much worship him- and so do their moms lol they all think he's hilarious, and they pay him so...it's a win/win for everyone!

 He's also killing it on his intramural volleyball team- his teammates call him Thor, and he's the captain of Parker's beach volleyball team for Chiro games which take place in Florida in November, but they're practicing now bc they're got a gold medal to defend ha,- oh, and he also plays in court tournaments with some of his Yucatan (the beach club nearby) buddies. And he somehow manages to make me dinner every night and pack me snacks for the next day. So yeah, I think he's great- so great that I will continue to live in Texas with him even though I have gotten irrationally homesick for Utah/Idaho.

But guess what?! I'm going home for Thanksgiving!!! I can NOT wait. It's been about 4 years since I've been in Boise for Thanksgiving! So yeah, I am def counting down the days until I get to see the fam and have my mom make me delicious foods :) 

Break

Jeff survived finals! yay! 

He's on his two week break now and it's been so nice. 

I come home from work and the dishes are put away, the fridge is stocked and the laundry's done. I could seriously get used to this. It was also kind of funny to see what he brought back from the grocery store when he went alone (specialty fruit knives???) But alas, he does have to go back to school sometime. For the first part of his break he took off to spend the weekend with the Cooks in Wylie. 

We met up for dinner and went shopping for the kids.

so of course we had to try it all out right then

we thought this was so funny- we put the box on her head and she was robot taylor lol

 Taylor knows her pedicures!

 One night she got out her little chair and said she was going to work on my feet. She got a little rock, put on some gloves and start rubbing my foot and massaging my leg. She even asked if it was too hot lol she told me to say that it was, and then told me "it's okay honey, it'll cool down."

like I said, she knows her stuff :)

this summer has flown by and I can't believe it's almost September! I'm so glad we could go out to Wylie- it had been too long since our last visit. I'm excited for the fall and for when we can come out to   see miss tay in action on the field and watch logan in football

Why is it that In-N-Out is so delicious past midnight?

I mean, it's pretty tasty any time of day, but the other night Jeff and I were out just before In-N-Out was closing and we had to stop by to have a quick late night meal in our car. 

It was heavenly. 

We actually got in a fight when Jeff started eating my fries, but I put an end to that reeeeaaaal quick.

We grabbed out food and ate in our car in the parking lot listening to the radio

Change Up

- I was running late to get my butt kicked in kick boxing-

BUT I had to document yet another hair change. 

yup! it's back to brown. And I'm kind of loving it this time around. 

I'm so cheesy. Haha, couldn't help it.

I chalk the arm up in the background to my many, many hours dedicated to watching America's Next Top Model marathons in college.

We'll see how long I keep it this time, but I was just needing a change and I didn't want to chop my hair off just yet, so going brunette it is!

yup- still breathing....barely. 

Geez Team USA, you sure know how to go all out with the dramatics! Todays game vs. Canada was insane. 4-3 with the U.S. scoring in the 122nd minute to win the game insane. This game had me yelling at my laptop and pulling my hair out the whole second half.

Depending on which stage of life you know me from, you might not know that I'm a little obsessed with USA soccer. So even though I've watched Alex Morgan's goal in the second half of overtime like 20 times... it's a safe bet that I'm going to spend the rest of the night watching that clip on a loop. 

awesome. 

Love the olympics! Now I'll just be crossing my fingers we can beat Japan on Thursday and that my boss will let me stream the game at my computer :)
