In May my Dad came down to visit for a few days.
We played in the pool, ate good food, and got a hike in while he was here.
My Dad has always been a little bit of a baby whisperer- he can calm down crying babies, and get shy/cranky toddlers like Ava to warm up to him in an instant.

Ava liked it when my Dad would read her the paper in the morning.
We went on a hike with Darren and Will. It was hot. So hot. And Halfway up Ava demanded that only I could carry her, but I'm still glad we trekked around and spent the morning outdoors.
