Uncle Matt

Last weekend Jeff's older brother came to visit! We loved getting to see him and had fun hanging out all weekend. Matt also got to meet Ava for the first time.

Right after Jeff got out of school he had Matt come down and play basketball for a couple hours- right after that they played beach vball. They were seriously tired when they got home.

Shopping Buddy

 This Summer has been the Summer of the baby- girl, that is.
I have been to at least one baby shower a week over the past few months. I went to a combined shower for  five girls last week, and I have three more showers to go to before I leave for Tahoe next week....and I love it! I love going to baby showers. The ones I've been going to are super chill though- no games, just yummy food and a lot of girl talk and opening presents at the end. It's a good time! With all of the baby showers comes a lot of shopping- luckily, I have the best little shopping buddy around

I seriously get as much enjoyment out of finding cute stuff for her as I do finding cute stuff for me. 

She's currently wearing 3-6 month clothing and I've already packed away a lot of her newborn stuff :( It's sad to pack away, but the bright side is I get to bring out new outfits! Can't wait until she's older and we can play dress-up....

not that we don't now lol, but when she's older hopefully she'll be more willing :)

How We Weekend

Our weekends are pretty chill. 

Last weekend we started it off with a Costco trip- Ava always gets buried when we go shopping

I got back from some visiting teaching to find these two cuddled up.

Jeff also played in a grass tournament, but it was a little too hot for me and Ava to be out in the sun allllll day so we stayed inside and enjoyed the A/C. Jeff's team did great though! 

So yeah- not the most exciting weekend, but nice nonetheless!

What the random post title? Well, that's only because this is a random post. 

Ava's been growing like a crazy baby- which is great- but it's left me going on, oh....an average of three hours of sleep a night for the past couple weeks. This is sad for me. However- every time I take Ava into the doctor they all go cray over how big and healthy she is so hey- can't complain too much.

So This Happened...

 Last weekend we were hanging out at the pool with friends and Jeff wanted to dip Ava's feet in the pool- before I could turn around Jeff was whisking her around the pool and she seemed to be loving it! I almost had a heart attack. This was her first time in the pool- and I wasn't planning on putting her in, so she's not in a swimsuit- just her cute little romper- she didn't seem to mind though!

Phone Dump

Jeff's sister Amy came to visit! We love Amy.

 It was so nice to see her and for Ava to meet her other aunt. While Jeff and I were at BYU, we'd go over to Amy and Steve's all the time for dinner and games and to see the girls- we miss them!
