Sweet or Creepy?.....It's a Mix.....

This last week I've had a hard time paying attention in my classes and instead of trying to refocus on what my professors are saying, I've worked on potential future baby names- and I came up with 6. This is somewhat of a problem as I plan on having 4 kids, but now I'm tempted to have more :) hehe anyways, this thinking about baby names got me thinking about morphit.com which is a site where you can morph your face with someone elses to see what your babies would look like....and well..... I couldn't resist taking a peek at what my future kids with Jeff could possibly look like.......

hmmm... cute?

I dunno.....

this one's kind of cute....

How Can I Better Understand and Live the Gospel?

I loved the visiting teaching message for this month;

Barbara Thompson, second counselor in the Relief Society general presidency: “Sisters, now more than ever, we need women to step up and be strong. We need women who declare the truth with strength, faith, and boldness. We need women to set an example of righteousness. We need women to be ‘anxiously engaged in a good cause.’ We need to live so that our lives bear witness that we love our Heavenly Father and the Savior Jesus Christ and that we will do what They have asked us to do” (“Now Let Us Rejoice,” Liahona and Ensign, Nov. 2008, 116).

2 Nephi 31:12: “Follow me, and do the things which ye have seen me do.”
- I love this scriptue- When I first read it while reading over the visiting teaching message for this month, it struck me that when I have children I want to be able to live my life and be an example to my children so that I can have them look to me as a literal example of "follow me, and do the things which ye have me do." By doing what my Heavenly Father would have me do I hope to be able to raise my children so they will have that same desire and hopefully be better at accomplishing that than me.

President Dieter F. Uchtdorf, Second Counselor in the First Presidency: “As we strive to understand, internalize, and live correct gospel principles, we will become more spiritually self-reliant.

I Blame the Pigs

Swine Flu- Ugh.

Such a pain- and I know the flu doesn't actually come from pigs- But-it is getting in the way of my family coming to visit :( Mom, Dad, Cameron and Matt were coming down this weekend except Cameron and Matt have some form of the swine flu along with like everyone else in the world. Unless they get better they won't be ablet to come. It's also getting in the way with how we do things at work and how we bill people and what not- lame.

Monday Blues

Sigh....It's Monday. Monday is not my favorite day. In fact- Monday is my least favorite day and today was no exception. I left our home at 7:45 am and didn't get home until 5:45. It was a long day full of class and work and for some reason I just couldn't wake-up. I even fell asleep in the library between classes! Embarrassing. To make this Monday lamer- Jeff has tests like crazy and has been studying like mad. He's out taking a test right now while I finish up a paper/update blog when I get tired of writing for school. Oh well, as long as I remind myself that school is important and we are very blessed to be able to go to BYU I'll get over the Monday blues- having pancakes for dinner also helped- sigh, I'm also putting off working out which I really need to do since I've taken a vacation from that since last Monday (I was consequently suffering from the Monday blues)
....ok,
Alright 30-Day Shred with Jillian Michaels here I come!!!!

Pretty Things

Bored at work again...

Pretty in Pink

"We all have things in our life that are tragic and depressing, and things that aren't pink. But that's the key to life, finding the things that are pink."

I can't lie- I was never a huge fan of pink growing up- but now, that I'm stuck at work, looking at pretty pink things really brightens my day- what can I say? I'm a big fan of PINK

Pink: It's classy.

Pink: Looks great on apartments too! Really- I would so want to live there.

Pink: Looks great with another bright color.

Pink: No other color would look so delicous.

Pink: These would make my day- they're gorgeous.

Pink: I don't know exactly what these are, but they're adorable

Pink: Pink Flowers = kind of my favorite

Party Time!!!

Birthdays are a BIG DEAL in my family and I intend to make them an even bigger deal in my new family. Hopefully next year the decorations will be better- I did the best I could but I had class, a lot of homework, and work (lame). I did make Jeff's Birthday dinner as requested: Chicken and rice casserole (lol, really- it's what he wanted) Orange Jello, veggies, and rolls- Luckily everything turned out- even the rolls! For dessert I made a razzle berry pie- yeaaaheahh! Love him and Birthdays!!!!!!!

The handsome birthday boy!

The decorations

I was proud of myself :)
