What is This? College?

Alright, this last week has been downright silly. Jeff as usual was ridiculously busy. And me- who usually makes it a practice NOT to do homework outside of my classes has been overloaded. I've had TAKE HOME homework every night, term papers to write, text books to read and tests to take. I've had to tutor every morning and two afternoons- as well as do the dishes, do research with my professor, make the bed, and get something together for dinner.- It's like I'm in college of something- so while lately we've been buried over our heads by these:

Which has made us feel like this :

We are still both really thankful to be going to such an amazing university. BYU is a great school with great people and ultimately, it's worth all the papers, readings, and late night cramming. It also happens to be the place that brought us together :)

Hey Hey Hey!!!

Food Blogs = My new obsession. I LOVE going through food blogs! Maybe it's the fat girl in me that loves looking at the pretty pictures of delicious food, but I also think it's the hope I feel when looking at the pictures that one day I'll be able to cook something that pretty. Sigh.....here's to hoping!

mmmmmmmmm food pictures = great motivation for cooking!

October is Here!!!

Ok, so October has been for about three days, but still, Happy October! I love Fall, and one of my favorite things about Fall is General Conference. It's Conference weekend and Jeff and mine's first since being married. A year ago in October this is what we were up to- scaring people at a haunted corn maze, going to BYU Football games, and getting some love in at the haunted corn maze haha, we LOVE October- Right now Jeff is at Priesthood session of General Conference. We watched today's sessions at Daniel's apartment and I made Oatmeal Pancakes.

Sweet or Creepy?.....It's a Mix.....

This last week I've had a hard time paying attention in my classes and instead of trying to refocus on what my professors are saying, I've worked on potential future baby names- and I came up with 6. This is somewhat of a problem as I plan on having 4 kids, but now I'm tempted to have more :) hehe anyways, this thinking about baby names got me thinking about morphit.com which is a site where you can morph your face with someone elses to see what your babies would look like....and well..... I couldn't resist taking a peek at what my future kids with Jeff could possibly look like.......

hmmm... cute?

I dunno.....

this one's kind of cute....

How Can I Better Understand and Live the Gospel?

I loved the visiting teaching message for this month;

Barbara Thompson, second counselor in the Relief Society general presidency: “Sisters, now more than ever, we need women to step up and be strong. We need women who declare the truth with strength, faith, and boldness. We need women to set an example of righteousness. We need women to be ‘anxiously engaged in a good cause.’ We need to live so that our lives bear witness that we love our Heavenly Father and the Savior Jesus Christ and that we will do what They have asked us to do” (“Now Let Us Rejoice,” Liahona and Ensign, Nov. 2008, 116).

2 Nephi 31:12: “Follow me, and do the things which ye have seen me do.”
- I love this scriptue- When I first read it while reading over the visiting teaching message for this month, it struck me that when I have children I want to be able to live my life and be an example to my children so that I can have them look to me as a literal example of "follow me, and do the things which ye have me do." By doing what my Heavenly Father would have me do I hope to be able to raise my children so they will have that same desire and hopefully be better at accomplishing that than me.

President Dieter F. Uchtdorf, Second Counselor in the First Presidency: “As we strive to understand, internalize, and live correct gospel principles, we will become more spiritually self-reliant.

I Blame the Pigs

Swine Flu- Ugh.

Such a pain- and I know the flu doesn't actually come from pigs- But-it is getting in the way of my family coming to visit :( Mom, Dad, Cameron and Matt were coming down this weekend except Cameron and Matt have some form of the swine flu along with like everyone else in the world. Unless they get better they won't be ablet to come. It's also getting in the way with how we do things at work and how we bill people and what not- lame.
