Under The Orange Tree

While Ava and I stayed some extra days in California, we were able to take advantage of my grandparent's wonderful backyard. My mom would lay out a blanket under their giant orange tree and Ava would be content to just lay back and kick and stare at the leaves. She loved when my mom took her around to touch the plants and she would grab on and yank twigs and leaves off- I would seriously find leaves in her rolls at the end of the day. girl is strong. 

I loved laying down with her and putting her on my legs and rocking back and forth. 

I had the prettiest view of my girl with the oranges in the background. 

That afternoon was perfection.

It was baby faces, slobber, warm air and my mom.
